In 2006 Michel Gondry made the movie The Science of Sleep with Gael Garcia Bernal playing the dreamy Stephan and (my favorite girl) Charlotte Gainsbourg playing his friend Stephanie.
I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful this movie is. It’s half animated with the most adorable elements – like this little fellow Golden the pony boy:
