Heard about this band called The Xx? They are from London and formed in 2005. They consist of four 20-something-year-olds and they have produced their album xx themselves. Congrats to The Xx.

I love this peculiar Japanese band. Especially their song ‘Ballet’, which reminds me of Thomas Newman’s soundtrack for American Beauty mixed with sound design from a computer game in the 80′s and Bjork. Check out Radical Fashion’s music here.

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do

On their myspace it says ‘The first note on the standard musical scale is “do” which is the last note also’.
I don’t really know what that is supposed to say about them as a band, but I love their untamed music and style.
Especially their song Playground Hustle with a childrens choir singing ‘we are not crazy, we are not afraid of you adults!’
