Dirty Beaches

Since her last post on Wunderbuzz up until now, Amalie has been a very busy lady. She still lives in New York, drinks coffee every morning and loves dogs. But she’s also been touring with MINKS and dum dum girls, started a blog, bought a Thurston Moore signature Fender Jazz Master (!), dip dyed her hair blue and has almost written all the songs for her new album. Dirty Beaches is the first preview of how her new album is going to sound. I really like this new sound. So all the love to Amalie.

Decadence & Decay

My lovely friend Stine Riis is soon graduating from London College of Fashion, and I can’t wait to see her fashion show next week. Here is a preview of her graduate collection which is inspired by the contrast between decadence and decay. You should all vote for her collection here.

Black and White

John Stezaker

I just read a interview with John Stezaker in Another Magazine. I love his work which are literary inspired by Pessoa, Kafta and Borges.

I’m a total 60s boy in that way. I want to create a kind of fiction through the reader or, to be more precise, the spectator.

Stezaker usually starts working at 6pm and often continues into the early hours of the morning.

See more of his work here.
