Hope you all will have a fantastic New Years Eve.
2009 will be the year when Wunderbuzz will celebrate its 1 year anniversary, and the year when Wunderbuzz will show some new sides of itself.
I can’t wait to see what you think. I can reveal that Wunderbuzz will be talking to several interesting people from the fashion business and related.

If you want to be a princess

You might consider the Spring 2009 collection from Jenny Packham. The dresses are so beautiful and princess-like. Pictures from Catwalking.com

Fruithof

Majo Fruithof thinks that “there is an irresistible fascination in interpreting materials and shapes within the context of individual beauty. From clear structures, reduced in their contrast, exciting new ideas evolve which underline the radiance of unique personalities.” I absolutely love the way the jewelry is presented.

Pre-Fall Wang & Høyer

Alexander Wang want’s to bring sexy back. A louche kind of sexy. This is some styles I picked out from his pre-Fall 2009 collection. And he has obviously also opened his eyes for the Danish model Charlotte Høyer.

Dip/Tie Dye

We have seen the dip-dye trend at many catwalks for the Spring 2009 collections, and I also think tie-dye will be a new trend in the Spring/Summer 2009.

Matryoshka

In honour of Russian Vogue’s tenth anniversary they asked different fashion designers to create their own unique versions of the Russian matryoshka doll. Here’s a couple cool ones:

50th anniversary

In 2009 it’s 50 years since girls have started playing with the famous Barbie doll.

Christian Louboutin will thus pay his respects via a special collection of Louboutin heels paying homage to the iconic doll and they’ll reportedly be colored Barbie Pantone 219 Pink. The collection of heels are set to debut at a Barbie-inspired runway presentation at New York Fashion Week in February. Jeremy Scott will also produce a clothing collection inspired by Barbie which will have an exclusive debut at Colette on March 12th during Paris fashion week.

To show how much that has changed in 50 years I have found the very first Barbie commercial from 1959.
